My love affair with photography began as a youth at the tender age of seven. A family member earned a living as a photographer and I can recall being immediately drawn to his instrument, the camera. It was an intriguing contraption to me. So much so, that I often snuck it away and took my own pictures. How could this small square object hold life’s memories and allow time to stand still?

Naturally, I enrolled in a number of photography courses when I began college.  Although my fascination with the art form continued to grow, I graduated with a Bachelors of Science degree in Communications Science and Disorders from the Florida State University intending to pursue a career in Speech Language Pathology.

Upon finding employment within the field, I realized that my early passion for photography was still brewing within. Taking a leap of faith, I focused my energy on photography as a career on a full-time basis. I quickly knew that I made the right decision.

I feel at home behind the lens. I am fueled by an insatiable desire to capture the “perfect image”. I aim to tell moving stories that are relatable to audiences yet thought-provoking. Although my pictures are underscored by sophistication and elegance, they also have a playful quality that accentuates my personality and overall perspective on life.

I am grateful that my talents have not gone unrecognized. My photos have been featured on and published in Fab magazine, one of the premier magazines in Africa and Europe. I am thrilled about the boundless possibilities that lie before me as I continue to capture life’s most memorable moments with my camera.
